On 18 September 2017, RMIT are unveiling its New Academic Street (NAS).

The NAS project aims to transform the heart of RMIT City campus by creating laneways, gardens and over 2,000 spaces.

​

"The New Academic Street project provides a strong foundation for delivering an ever-improving student experience at RMIT’s flagship City campus", states RMIT representative.

​

This infrastructure will frame RMIT as innovative and forward thinking. 

​

The NAS appeals to the modern student. Those who enjoy both the interactive and relaxed. With an increase in learning and open spaces there is an opportunity for thought sharing, unlike traditional study spaces.

RMIT is not just labelling itself as an institute of technology it's showing it.
